Meet Prime! Our 2 year old, Male, Buff Domestic Shorthair. Prime is a big personality packed into one handsome frame. He's the kind of cat who announces himself the moment he walks into a room, meowing and calling for attention with chirps and trills and a full chirps, conversational commentary on his day. If you've ever wanted a feline roommate who believes strongly in open communication, Prime is your guy.
Despite his talkative nature, Prime's energy is warm and endearing. He's social, curious, and loves being part of whatever you're doing. Whether he's following you from room to room or settling in nearby to supervise your activities. With his sturdy build, expressive voice, and affectionate spirit, Prime is ready to become the center of someone's world.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 month
