Introducing Yogi - a tall, leggy 17-pound Schnauzer mix with a soft soul. At 4 years old, he's still figuring out the world and needs someone who can help him feel safe.
Yogi is very shut down and scared, but underneath that fear is a truly sweet dog. He loves snuggling once he feels secure, though he's still hesitant to approach people on his own. His gentle nature shines through in quiet moments.
He's looking for a calm, patient home where he can decompress and learn at his own pace. With time and kindness, Yogi will absolutely blossom into the loving companion he's meant to be.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
