Meet Oliver Twist! Our male, 90 pound, 5 year old, Old English Sheepdog. Oliver came to us with all the hair you'd expect to see from his breed, but given the climate we thought it best to groom him and shave him down. Once we cut away the hair we discovered his beautiful heterochromia eyes and his handsome smile.
Oliver Twist might be a bigger boy, but that just means he has more love to give. He a a gentle gentleman and loves nuzzling up against his people, going for walks and playing and roaming around. Oliver Twist would fit any family dynamic, guaranteed to make the whole family fall in love with him.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
