Say hi to Alto! Our 7 year old, 10 pound poodle. A charming soft lad who is all about companionship and affection. Whether he's trotting beside you on a walk or curling up for a cozy nap, Alto brings joy to every moment.
Alto is a gentle soul who thrives on affection and connection. He'll greet you with a wagging tail and soulful eyes that say, "I'm yours." and "my bowl is empty" He loves his belly rubs, ear scratches and being told what a handsome good boy he is. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will brighten your days and fill your home with warmth, Alto is ready to be your forever cuddle buddy. Despite his age, Alto is a silly boy who loves to play. He often tries to start games of tug-o-war or keep-away.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
