Say hello to Izel, a 4-year-old, 44-pound female Thai-ridgeback mix with a truly unique twist, she sports a beautiful coat of short, soft hair, setting her apart from the traditional hairless variety of her breed. Just like her name (which means "unique"), Izel is truly special in every way.
This sweet girl is a social butterfly with people, adult or child, Izel loves them all. Her warm, gentle nature makes her a joy to be around, and her favorite pastime? Giving lots of kisses. Izel is not only affectionate, but also loyal, loving, and full of personality.
Izel could be your ideal family dog, we'd love for Izel to go to a loving home with a big yard where she would be the only dog the family needs. Whilst Izel is the perfect dog for people, Izel is dog reactive.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
