Meet Zipper, a lovable 2-year-old, 72-pound Great Pyrenees and Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his paws! Zipper is the definition of a gentle giant-he's sweet, affectionate, and thrives on being close to his favorite people. This charming boy is eager to please and has already mastered the art of sitting and shaking (he's got some pretty impressive moves!).
Zipper is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. His playful personality and endless loyalty make him an amazing companion who's ready to bring joy to your life.

Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
