Bonjour! I am a 16 pound, male, Frenchie mix. My name is Tater and I am as goofy as my name implies. I have a lot of energy, so I need a backyard to run in. Apartment life is not for me. With these ears, I am the watchdog you've always wanted. I get along with other dogs, but I tend to sort of barrel through, so no elderly pets or small children. I am young so I still like to chew. I will need some training and no soft toys. Come see me!
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
