Jade continues to adjust well in her new home with us. She has been an incredible joy to have and so great with her foster brother. Jade has some possession issues that we continue to work on daily but we do understand some of it has to do with her past and adjusting to having a brother. This is a learning experience for all of us that we know will be beneficial in the future.
Jade is jokingly called the "kitty" in our home as she sips on water the way a kitty would and purrs when she cuddles. She doesn't like to chew on bones generally, but becomes very proud when she is given one - just walking around with it in her mouth and shows it off to everyone in the house at the time. Jade's false pregnancy symptoms are almost gone but the nesting has become habit now, especially in our piles of dirty clothes!
Thanks to UMGDR for allowing us the new addition to our family. She has only brought more fun and laughter into our home and we love how she has been a great asset for her foster brother as well. Jade has a very calm and shy demeanor so when we go out in public, most people are shocked to see how such a large dog could be such a great and loving family member. Everyone should have a Great Dane! :)
