It's been a month now since I've adopted Bailey (formerly "T" or "Toli") and I wanted to give an update. Bailey has adjusted really well and seems to feel quite at home now. Over the past month we've worked hard on her anxiety (she's a very shy and nervous dog) and she's coming out of her shell. In the beginning she was extremely hesitant around other people and would try to hide, but last night she went to her first party and had everyone giving her loving pets by the end of the evening. She's unbelievably camera shy (as sneaky as I try to be she is amazing at avoiding the paparazzi), but I've been able to snap a few photos.
She's eating really well (even stole a hamburger at the party!) and I'm hoping it will mean some weight gain for Bailey, the super model Dane. We started obedience classes a few weeks ago and she is makes me proud every week! It's so fun to see her grow and blossom. As a new dog owner Bailey is making this really easy for me.
Thank you for bringing Bailey into my life. She is a wonderful addition to the home and a good companion!
