Update 4 months after adoption:
I just wanted to contact you to let you know that Minnie is thriving here with us and vice versa. She is a wonderful, sweet and humorous Dane. I'm sending a couple new pictures of her, she is still on the thin side, but has managed to gain about 3 pounds since March. She is constantly on the go and wants to be by our side all the time. We love her so much and are thinking of adopting another Dane in the near future. We also have an 11 year old Rott/Doberman cross and I don't want to upset him, although he is so laid back, not much bothers him. So if the right Dane is up for adoption, we'll most likely consider another dog. Thanks so much for all you do for this wonderful breed.
Update 1st week after adoption:
I just want to thank everyone at UMGDR for allowing my husband and I to adopt Minnie. You have a wonderful organization and bless you for rescuing this wonderful breed. Minnie has settled right in at our home and our hearts. She makes Larry and I laugh at her cute little mannerisms. We both just love her and so does Quincy. He and Ruby rarely slept on the same sofa together, but today he allowed Minnie to lay her head on his behind and they both went to sleep. I had to take a picture because it is so unlike him.
