Hi, Gordie here! It's been a month in my forever home and I don't mean to brag, but I've adjusted really well! My new home is great! I get to have free roam of the house with my brother Earl and the two cats and we spend lots of time outside in the backyard with our humans grilling and gardening. We take long walks every day and go to the dog park a lot; I already have lots of new friends. My humans say: "We had anticipated some adjustment issues as we would with any rescue but we can truly say there have been no concerns or problems with Gordie coming to live with us. We frequently comment how it seems we've had him with us forever! Gordie seems very happy living with us and we are so happy to have him in our family."
First week with new family:
Gordie (formally Gordon/Gibson) has been with us just over a week now and we absolutely adore him. He traveled from Fargo to Mpls with his new brother Earl perfectly and has settled into his forever home. Gordie loves meeting new people and new dogs and can definitely keep up with his energetic brother both at home and at the dog park. We are working on learning to leash walk like a gentleman and Gordie is catching on very quickly. He's very responsive to his new humans and seems to want nothing more than to please. He is NOT a fan of pedicures, but we're slowly desensitizing him to the dremel and are certain we'll have those toes in model shape soon! Our experience with UMGDR has been terrific from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with our new kiddo, Gordie.
